Travel Team Information  

Each Fall and Spring, we have competitive teams that travel to play other area programs and tournaments. This is a great program for players who want to take their game to the next level. It is also for players who want to play year round. In the Spring, we only have a travel program - no recreational soccer. 

This is a competitive soccer program.  Play time for each player is determined by the head coach given player ability and game situation. This is not like the recreational league where coaches are required to play everyone at least half of the game - although this is encouraged. 

Travel Team Tryouts will be Sunday September 23, 2018 at 2:00pm (coaches meeting 1:30pm) at the Bill Rice Soccer Complex. All available recreational coaches should assist with the tryout to help represent their players.

Fee covers training and up to 3 tournaments (as determined by coach and parents). 

Fall 2018 Tournament Fee for players enrolled in Fall rec league: $50 ($75 if you need a Jersey) - Payable SYSA  ** If a player gets added that was not enrolled in the Fall rec league, they must pay an additional $10 administrative fee for a total of $60 or $85 depending on whether they need a jersey. 

Coaches: submit league roster form Word PDF WITH AMOUNT DUE to Amber Rumsey ([email protected]) at Park Office by no later than Friday October 5, 2018 so she can check them off as they pay. Also, email a copy to [email protected] & [email protected] Only rosters using the league travel roster form will be excepted. 

Travel Team Payment Deadline: Friday October 19, 2018 (Must be paid in full at park office by this date) 

Coaches: submit travel team jersey order form Word PDF by Friday October 5, 2018 to [email protected] & [email protected] Only orders using the league jersey order form will be excepted. We plan to use the same jersey as last year. Players will only need to order a jersey if new, outgrown old one, or team number conflict. 

Coaches; Each of your player MUST complete the Travel Registration form PDF before they can play in any tournament. You will carry a copy of the form with you just as you would your roster, grade verification, and birth certificate forms. In addition to other items, this authorizes you to seek medical attention for an injured athlete should a parent or guardian not be available to make medical decisions.
